RB20: Random stuff i need help with

Ok so i have a couple weird things.

1. When the car first starts it idles high, once it warms up it can idle good for a bit than just want to die and i have to rev it.

2. Sometimes(1time in a 45 minute trip say) when im slowing down, hit the clutch/brake the cars rpms will just drop and try to die but if i rev it, it stays runing.

Some say it could be boost leak, need to clean iacv, or coil packs heating. I believe them because they know what they are talking about i just still want some more opinions. thanks guys

Could be lots of things... I would start with those options since they're free/cheap to diagnose.

Clean maf with brake clean or equivalent. Tighten all boost" clamps.

The brown thing above the inj. is basicly a cold/thermo valve. Possible something alone those lines. Eccs controls closing at operating temp if it doesnt close all the way "Vacuum leak"

Check throttle plate for carbon build up...clean it anyway...thats all i got. If all else fails disconnect a vacuum hose to increase idle. NOT
