RB20 pump in S14?

Is it possible to use my buddies RB20 fuel pump for my Rb25 in my s14? or am i just gonna have to break down and buy a walbro and fpr

you can but it is a challenge getting it to fit in tank due to the built in pressure relief valve.

is the pressure release valve necessary? or is there anyway to make it work with the rb20 pump?

a rb20 pump is at LEAST 15 years old. spend the $90 bucks for a new pump. one less thing to go wrong.
