Ok. Just installed the power steering. First, it turns really awesome. Second, there seems to be an abnormal screeching noise coming from the PS pulley, or around that area. Yes, I made sure there was fluid in there. ( any advice on what kind? DOT? ). It only happens when my car is warmed up and when on the gas. I made sure the pulley was on correctly. Any ideas?

nissans use automatic transmission fluid for power steering (dexron/mercon)

the screeching is probably caused from the belt not being tight enough

id flush it and run ATF asap tho.

ok, automatic transmission fluid for power steering. I didnt know that, I used some generic STP power steering sh*t. I should have known better. Looks like it's leaking as well. Puddle of Fluid each morning.

using standard power steeing fluid on your can will ruin the steering rack-pinion. use only ATF for the power steering on your 240/rb. sqealing could cause by the belt slipping or bad power steering pump.

Sounds like the pump. Did you change out the fluid yet?

Definately a pump growl. Change your fluids, you also may have a big air pocket. Fill it up and crank the wheel full turns side to side. That will clear out air.-Alex

might wanna leave the cap off the filler container while you turn the wheel so the air can escape
