Well now that I found out that my ECU is bad I've been looking for a replacement. During this search I've come across an RB20 PFC w/Commander . It sounds nice and all but I have no experience tuning an engine so I'm a bit wary. How self-explanatory/simple are these thinsg to work? DO any of you have experience using a PFC and could possibly lend a hand / walk me through it?
Basically, what are your guys' opinions on the unit itself and a noob using it.

Edit: Is the ~$1100 pricetag worth it compared to say a replacement ECU (150-250) + Emanage and Harnesses+Support Tool (500?)? I'm kinda thinking the added versatility and stand-alone-ness of the PFC is worth that couple hundred bucks...

The PFC is a pain the bum to tune with the commander. It can be done but your better off getting the FClogit software and tune it with a laptop. It's alot better than the Emange and can kill your motor just as fast lol. It will have a base map in there that might not work too good..... they never seem too. I didn't find it hard at all to use.

Well I would imagine you would have to do more wiring since it's not a plug and play deal. How much HP are you after? if 500 is all you want to see then PFC should do the trick. It's not the best by far but it's pretty good. I'm goin with the Microtech LT12S myself. Then If I don't like it after a year I'll get the AEM EMS for the RB20 when it comes out.
