Where can I find RB20DET braided Turbo Oil lines? If there are none availible do SR/CA/KA lines interchange? I know that if you have the wrong size you risk damaging your turbo so I'm really looking for the right answers haha.

If there are no aftermarket lines availible for RB20, what are the specifications so I can have a shop make some for me.

I believe I know the answer to this but just to be sure, Rb20 oil lines work with Rb25 turbo correct?

Thanks, Jackson

you really dont need to upgrade the line if you are still running a stock turbo/setup

you just use the standard AN-3 or AN-4 braided line, there's nothing special about it, other than get an adapter that will bolt on to your block. if you use AN-4 lines i recommend getting an oil restrictor.

here's your solution:

this is for the block: go to summitracing.com get this adapter:it's a 12mmx1.25 -4AN fitting (just the right thread your block need)http://store.summitracing.com/...w=sku

2nd route/option, buy these two adapters:

* 12mmx1.25->AN-6 * AN-6->AN-4 reducer

its not that I want to upgrade, I just dont have any. So I get two of those restrictors, now what should I do for my rb25 turbo, i dont have any oil lines from that, just 4 threaded holes.

Thank you very much for your help already

you only need one oil restrictor on the high pressure side. if you just simply need the lines, i may have them still, off my rb25. i'll check.

If it's the stock rb20 hard lines and banjo bolts you need I have the ones off my old stock turbo.

If the center section is designed to have water running through it your best bet is to use water lines as well. Most turbos that are only oil cooled have larger internal jackets in the center section to cool the turbo off. In a water/oil cooled center section the water jackets take up some room that would nromally be used by oil, so not running water through these jackets essentially wastes a lot of cooling that the turbo was designed to have. Not too big of a deal in the short term, but in the long run it will lead to premature turbo wear due to excess heat.
