So basically, my car has had a small oil leak for almost 9 months now. It is such a small oil leak that the oil level never goes down, but i see the spots under my car in the garage. Today, I got under the car to take a look and here is what I saw.

The back of the block is pretty much oil soaked. along with that, the bottom of the exhaust manifold is getting oil on it too

The car runs perfect, makes awesome power, and holds boost just fine. So where could this oil be coming from?? Can a headgaket leak this way?

My guess would be that banjo bolt. I would clean the area with some brake parts cleaner or carb cleaner and run it around the block and see if you get any leak.

Oh man I have the same problem. Carl, it's just probably a valve cover or gasket leak? It's always just a little bit every night.

most likely valve cover, if your hg was leaking like that you'd know due to lost fluids.

i thought it was the valvecover gasket at first too. I replaced it but i didnt change the semi circle gasket cuz i didnt know it was there at first. maybe i will cake some goopy gasket stuff back there and hope it stops. The car put down 320whp with the leak and all plugs look good, so i don't think its causing a problem with the cylinder.

Mine did the same thing; It was the half moon part of the valve cover gasket. I haven't fixed it yet, guess I need to re-RTV it...

FYI that banjo bolt is for coolant, not oil.

There is a banjo fitting on the top of the turbo for oil.

Also check the oil feed line, make sure its not leaking, a friend of mine had leaking coolant feed lines on his SR with tiny pinhole sized leaks around the end of the line the banjo fitting slides in.
