rb20 mount question

ok, so I thought the stock r32 mounts would fit into an s13, so i was either wrong, or I'm doing something wrong. But my mounts seem to be sitting about 4 inches to far forward. Am I just being blind/idiotic? I did search, but I didn't find anything that was similar, so any help and input would be greatly appreciated.

in order of the r32 mounts to work, you need the r32 crossmember as well.
