RB20 Misfire help me rb gods...

Allrighty guys i have my rb20 up and runnin.. i have FMIC, intake and open o2 housing( waitin on my dp) ok so here it is... sumtimes she runs great has power she pulls and no problems.... but other times she misses and breaks up during normal driving.... she hasnt thrown a misfie code ro anyhting all i have is 55 a ok... i checked my plugs and they seem to indicate a lean burn.. the plugs are new bcpr7e copper plugs.... i cant t rememebr gap.... i also havent gotten a fuel pressure regulator... but i have a walbro pump....... im thinkin im reset the ecu and see wat happens....

possible issues...

timing... ( cant check because im waitin on my cas bracket to come in...plugs are to cold for a stock setup...plugs need smaller gapcoilpacksbad tank of fuelfuel pressure to low....

any help from the rb gods would be awesum.. thnk u in advance...

just drove 20 miles home.. no issues..... engine temp was just below 190*F

Regap your plugs to .8 stock is 1.1

while you @ it. wrap your coils with electrical tape so spark wong jump off.n clean the tips of the coil. could be dirty inside.

clean your MAF (could be dirty and causing that) Just clean the damn thing it will help. Trust me!

check your grounds!!

*nxt time search is your best friend. then post after doing all that reset the ecu.

Grounds are perfect... just cleaned the maf will regap the plugs tonight and wrap the coils.....

also the car likes to die when comin to a stop... BOV is recirced....

I gotta do the same tomorrow.... (i've been saying tomorrow for the past 2 weeks)

mine is breaking up @ high RPMS if I floor it around 5,6k. i need to regap my plugs and pretty much what i told you to do LoL

tomorrow though

oh and for the dying part, good Question. mine is doing that too but my HKS is not Recirculating. so thats why.

if its dying YOUR CASE could be a VACUM leak..

well guys the issue was in the wiring harness for my number 5 cylinder.... the coil pack harness was bad.. so i redid it and voila problem gone.... i regapped plugs to 32 and shes perfect...

but i do have a vacuum leak.. i gotta find her becuse im sittin at 16ins of vacuum at idle and im at 20 in while driving.....
