rb20 measurements

I've been taking measurements of my rb20 so I can fill out JE's custom piston form and would like the knowledgable to take a look and see if my numbers look right. I know that they can't be the same as everyboby else but, I want to know if they look close to spec.

Deck Height: 7.490"Valve DiameterIn: 30mm Ex: 27mmCombustion Chamber Volume: 52ccCompression Height: 1.2765"Deck Clearance: 0.057" Does anyboby know what the cc of dome of the stock rb20 pistons are?

no your probally the first one to try ordering custom pistions when it should be done by someone that knows what they are doing.

I guess you have a vast knowledge of my experience and training to feel comfortable enough to make that statement.

I dont know what your experience level and i dont think it matters. If i was having custom pistons made i would let the person making the pistons take all of the measurements since it is such a critcal part of an engine. Plus if it gets f**ked up then they are to blame and have to fix.

That would require nothing short of shipping the long block out to JE. For some reason I can't see them wanting that. Not to mention the added cost.
