rb20 MAF problems

the MAF that came with my rb20 was shot. it wouldnt start with the MAF plugged in so i bought an N60 and wired it up. it now starts with the N60 plugged in but it wont rev at all. it starts and then makes a popping noise like the blow off valve. i wired the two wires with the plastic/wire casing together, matching like colors, and then wired the black/silver dots together and the white/silver dots together. all the colors match, but it still wont run right. i researched this for about two hours and found that it usually is caused by a boost leak, faulty MAF, or fuel pressure. i am running a 255 fuel pump, and i know it is working and i cant find a boost leak. any ideas?

it sounds wired wrong.. But the wiring is the same setup if you were to wire in a z32 mafs so go by that digram and try to match it up to what you have wired now and see if it's correct

I used to have the same problem with using n60 mafs and I still kinda am...

I'm thinking we need to use safc2 for using n60 mafs.

mine had the same exact problem its your maf. test your maf at pin 2 for voltage it should be low then blow into the maf and the voltage should go up if not faulty maf. next check pin 27 on your ecu. (thats for your maf). i ran a wire form pin 27 on ecu to pin 2 on maf and it fired up ran ran perfect.
