Hey everyone,

I just installed a wideband last weekend and have since been keeping track of the AFRs at different loads and rpms and such. At idle, my AFRs are around 16-17. Is it normal to be that lean at idle? Low load, low RPM AFRs are also a bit on the lean side, usually around 15-16. It fattens up to around 10.8 at WOT but I've heard that Nissans run rich from factory.

I'm running a stock RB20 with a 25 turbo @ 11 psi, a FMIC, pod filter and 3" from DP back. The car's main purpose is DD with some autocrossing.

Thanks everybody!

PS: I'm thinking about getting nistune to dial in the factory tune a bit considering I'm running the 25 turbo. I figure it will be a good opportunity to get my feet wet in regards to tuning. Am I wrong to think that tweaking the factory map will be more "novice tuner friendly" than if I had to adjust for injectors, upgraded MAF, turbo, etc.?

sounds bout right to me i know on my ka i was at 14.7-16 @ idle/ cruise. Your good its no need to be dumping fuel at idle and cruise. The 10.8 is a good number, sounds to me like your ok, but then again that was on a kat not rb. :yesnod
