Like title says sometimes ill just be driving and it will die. I can turn it right back on immediately though.

At times when I am driving it will not really sputter, but feel like it shut off but it didn't and it will abruptly get back under power after about 2 seconds.

Im thinking the MAF, anyone have any other ideas. I also checked all vacuum lines and connections everything seems to be fine. I just bought this car as a project, just trying to get everything sorted out. BTW I have no idea what MAF is in there currently as I bought it already with the rb20 in it.

Mine was doing same thing. I took MAF off of car and cleaned with Maf cleaner and so far it is ok. It looked like who ever had car before did not run filter. Good luck

Is the bov vented to atomosphere or recirculated back into the system?

Well. I think it has the stock BOV ( if it came with one) right before the intake manifold in front of throttle body on the pipe going to the throttle body. It also has one on the IC pipe hotside if I remember correctly.

When I got it the wiring wasnt in the greatest shape. Also had boost and vacuum leaks everywhere.

Just trying to get all this sorted out.

change your MAF, then buy 2 more spares. they go bad. cleaning them does not always work either

With the car running spray a little bit of WD-40 near any place you think you have a boost/Vacuum leak.

Becareful because its flammable!!!!!
