I know this has been discussed and believe me i have searched A LOT (i'm a mod on another very popular 240sx forum so i know how people not searching is a HUGE PAIN IN THE ***), but anyway, i came across this on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

Now it looks like the Wasabi Garage manifold, but it doesnt say. I was wondering if anybody had any info on it. The most i could find on the Wasabi garage manifold on this for was that it was " very rough, but good because of the velocity stacks and design of the plenum."

Anyway, if anybody could give some clarification on what "very rough" means or any first hand experience with the manifold, it would be greatly aprreciated.

Thanks!

I had a wasibi intakemanifold. Looked good from far away till I started looing into the runer. It didn't match up on the inside at all, there was a lip where he welded the runer to the stock runer. Think of a step but against the flow. I traded it for some 240 parts and called it a day.

ah i see. That makes sense. I remember seeing pics of your old wasabi manifold in a thread during my search.

So i take it, you would advise against the one in the ebay link then?

Fwiw, please dont think that i want to go cheap because thats not it at all, but i really cant justify spending 1500 bucks for an ITM. Why not keep stock you might ask? Its just that i absolutely HATE the way the crossover manifold looks (call me a ricer if you want, i dont care ) and it'll make my intercooler piping shorter and less of a pain to make.

Thanks for all the help though guys. I appreciate it!

I'm guessing the ebay manifold is a no go?

If thats the case, is calling up TopHat my next best option?

As far as performance gains, i dont really care. As long as it doesnt perform worse than stock and its durable, that'll work for me.

I feel like i'm asking old questions, but in the search there's no real concrete information.

Sorry didn't have my email reply turned on. I'm not sure about the quality of the ones on ebay. They look a little better but it's hard to tell just looking at it. NizmoSilvia got a intakemanifold from some guy in NZ or Aus for 700 I think. Hit him up and get that guys email, his looks pretty good too.
