My stock RB20 is running goofy. I start the car, and it idles fine. It will idle all day but after I give it throttle, she dies when the rpm's drop back down. Then I have to start the car again, and it will idle smooth. Rev it up, she comes down and dies. I can't think of what it could be and I feel the answer is probably something simple but I can't think. :paceing

Mine does that; I found that unplugging the AAC helped but the car idled really right about 2.5K-3K. So I assume it's the AAC going bad, as a temp fix I unplugged it and adjusting the TPS to idle the car down to more like 1500RPM's but after warming up it goes down to about 1050RPM's.

Just in case you don't know it's the thing bolted on the back (closest to the firewall) on your intake many, pull that plug off and give it a try it will still stall but not as often, the way I avoid it till I can replace it is after throttle I apply a little as it revs down and that keeps it from stalling, or if I open it up on the road I leave it in gear and let it rev down for a few seconds and it's fine.

Hope that helps.

Oh and I did take the AAC off and clean it but it didn't help, might try that too but I don't know if this symptom is that it's gone or simply malfunctioning.
