i'm probobly buying an RB20 in the next few day's. i was planning on a CA18det but after some trouble, and finding a good RB i think i'm goin for it. i was just wondering if there are any interchangable parts off of cars here in teh US. like alternater, waterpump, and other maintanence items like that. i know you can use an NA Z32 clutch, would some NA Z32 parts be interchangable. thanks alot.

I dont know of too many. I am just going to plan ahead. Keep my own personal stock of stuff. Like 1 or 2 extrea gasket sets, timing belts, stuff that is hard to find here.

I need to check first. Meggala emailed me about it. He gave me a price and it was kinda high. So I need to know what they go for in Japan. I recently had a freind get stationed in japna who is really into cars and Nissan (sold a Skyline for a Supra though:( ) and also my sister lives there too. So I am going to ask them and compare prices to what meggala is offering. Not saying he was trying to rip me off or anything. Just seemed kinda high and he did state that gasket sets were kinda expensive

FRIDAY!!! W00T!!! My engine got shipped last friday. The owner didnt put it on the books or whatever, so they almost shipped a clip and extra longbloack because the other RB20 they were shipping out had a stripped #3 spark plug hole. So they said screw it we will send you an extra longblock with head gasket so you can swap the heads. Unfortunately (or fortunately however you look at it) it was a mix up and mine was shipped already. But it is coming. It is in Nebraska right now. Will be in ND tomorrow afternoon and on my doorstep hopefully Friday after lunch. I want to be running by tues or wed. I have a long weekend coming up.

Soon man hopefully. I hope everything works out for you all. I was almost in the same boat. ALMOST. I bought into the hype...then I thought about. Reading his bashing other companies threads reminds me of reading XBox magazine at the dentists office. They are always bashing PS2 in there why.....because they are on top of the gaming industry. I saw that the same way. If you have a quality product and quality service, there is no need to bash anyone. Your customers will come. So in the end, I decided against buying from him. The price didnt hurt either....

Are you absolutely sure about the coilpacks? I went to Z1 Motorsports to try and troubleshoot my misfire problem (which eventually ended up being a wiring problem), and the owner just looked at the connector and said it was different than the Z32TT. This guy really knows his stuff and I have full confidence in what he said. However we do all make mistakes and I didn't actually get a chance to look at a Z32TT coil pack to make sure. Maybe I'll ride down there again in a few days since I believe my #4 and #5 coil packs are going bad.

If the connectors are all that are different then it could work by just soldering a few wires.
