i normally leave the plenum in place and remove the cold start valve plug (blue connector) and the rear two injectors from the rail and pull the rail out from the front...its a bit easier than dismantling the intake manifold and prevents damage to the hoses under there which are normally rock hard and crack.

its a little tricky to do it this way but its not that back...replacing the isolators in the runners is a bit of a puzzle but again can be done easily.

if i dont do it that way and go the longer route, i can just remove the top part of the plenum correct? also with doing that is there gaskets, orings or anything i need to buy, or is it just the grey rtv silicon?

there is a gasket between the manifold halves, using rtv to reseal it seems to be hit or miss.

dont use the crappy isolators that come with the deatchwerks injectors, get some from a toyota 7mgte.
they're much larger and kinda a pain to get into place but they seal very well.
also like i said be very careful with the hoses under the plenum they tend to be brittle from heat and age.

Injector orings that go into the manifold with the tip of the injectors. Go to the Toyota dealer they will have them. Just tell them 89 Supra.
