Rb20 in 92 hatch wiring problem..

WEll ive been helpin my buddy with his rb20 swap and we are finally down tto the wiring and im havin problems.. First of all is the writeup with pictures Carl H had at Racebread can no longer be found since the site is gone so the only write ups i have are just words and not very descriptive..

second problem i have is the harness we have is partially cut.. the 6 and 8 pin plugs have been cut off along with the MAF and O2 wiring so i have a bunch of wires that im not sure what they go to.. If someone could help me identify them or help me find a write up with pictures again it would be appreciated.. I didnt have this much trouble with wiring my motor..

thirdly i want to konw what i gotta do with the 3 large white plugs.. what of that gets spliced into what?

lastly we need relays for the green plugs by the ecu correct? waht are those relays for? my Rb25 harness doesnt have those

I put the three white plugs and the two green eccs relay connections inside the car. I'd have to pull my interior trim off to take pics of how I did mine.

Your car will not run without the eccs relays.

As for the other wires...the white purple stripe one needs some switched power if I remember correctly. I think all the blue ones are for AC. What is really bothering is that shielded one that looks like the maf wires. Those shouldn't have been cut. You can add more onto it but it has to be shielded and the shielding grounded at one end. Hopefully you have the maf pigtail to put on there. You should be able to figure out the wiring from one of the better wiring diagrams just based on the color of the wires. If you can't find any I'll see if I can take photos later of where mine go. If I remember.

i got everything figured out except the Maf wiring. On the ECu pin out diagrams there are only 2 wires for the Maf sensor labeled.. but 4 wires comin off maf plug.. Not sure where the second 2 wires are comin from

Fortunately for you, my rb20 maf and its pigtail are on my desk. The order is left to right, black, black with silver rings, white, white with black stripe.

All four need to go to the pigtail for the maf. You do have a maf and its corresponding pigtail right?

i have the maf with pigtail on it but mine goes white, black, black, white.. but thats not my problem. I cant find the 4 wires from the ECu that go to the maf. Only pins 26 and 27 are for the Maf wirin from the ECU pinout diagrams ive seen.. not sure where the other 2 wires are comin from

im goin out to the garage to work on it so if u see this soon and can text me my number is 414 254 3537

i know this is kinda late but it may be relevant for someone else, the thick brown shielded wire in your first pic has two wires inside of it, those are the other two wires you need hook up to the maf plug
