I've swapped in my RB20 and have been driving it for about a month now and i cant seem to get it to idle below 800. Sometimes it dips around 700 when the fans turn on and other accessories are being used. Any help will be appreciated.

What was the purpose of all that...Either answer the question or keep it moving...Damnnn...Dont have a heart attack its the internet...Now Matt One solution to your problem could be check the Idle switch aka Tps...It has a screw to be adjust for idle...If you want to get it precise on use a mulitimeter to check the ohms that are suppose to be running to that sensor with the throttle closed...Somebody correct me if i'm wrong...Not sure how many should be going there just check the FSM for that...

Also check and see if the Ecu is throwing any codes about sensors...O2...IACV

maybe I was brash but I apologize, I have to say that there is at least 2 threads on the first 3 pages of this forum where I answered that question.

The idle switch does not have an adjustment screw the IAC Valve does, don't mess with the adjustment screw on the IAC until you set your idle switch. The idle switch and tps are all in the same unit..however there are 2 plugs, one plug connects right to the black housing this is the plug you take off, loosen the screws on the tps, then on the main body of the switch (black part you took the plug off of) take a multimeter and hook up the leads to the pins till you get a reading, now with the leads on and throttle plate closed turn the tps until you here a click sound or you see continuity (o ohms) on the multimeter...then gently tighten the screws down assure you have continuity with the throttle closed still, then plug the idle switch back inStart the car and check to see if the idle is stable.....if not you possibly have a vacum leak,or the iac valve could be bad,or aac valve could be,or also you may need to adjust the screw on the IAC valve and or clean it and the throttle body.

Ignore my post above I can be a huge d!ck sometimes
