What problem does this sound like to you?

My GTS-T idles at about 1500, while frequently fluctuating rapidly between 1200 to 1900. Its revs on its own up to 1900, then falls to 1200 and repeats. This all occurs in out of gear of course.

Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

Is your idle switch set?

where is the idle switch and how do you set it? my rb20 idles at like 2k as soon as it warms up (like 30 sec.) i took apart the aac valve and everything was normal the spring was intact- i cleaned everything and tried the adjusting screw but i still cant get rid of that high idle. i know the aac motor functions because the idle changes if you unplug it. i was going to try switching it with a ka one dunno if they interchange.anyone else have this problem?

I got my high idle resolved by using a multimeter pulling the plug off the body of the tps sensor, set the multimeter to ohms, put a lead on each pin on the tps body, loosen the screws on the tps and adjust the tps till you have continuity with the throttle closed, tighten the screws and that should solve that.If your idle screw does nthing chances are you have a bad air leak.

Yes idle switch and tps are in the same unit.
