RB20 harness help please...

i noticed a brown casing, containing 2 wires coming out, one is white, the other is just bare wire and i have no clue where it goes, what its for, or if its even to be used any imput would be helpful and i hope the pic explains a lil better

when I hooked up my safc I had a white wire that belong to the maf to cut.

that pic doesn't help i dont know which way to hold the ecu or the harness end.....

you can figure it out. just look at the pic and see which pins arent being used for anything and match them up to the pinout. for example, see how pin 4 isnt used for anything? use that pin to orient your plug to coincide with the pic for the pinout. the pic shows the raised section where the bolt goes through the plug to hold it to the ecu.

ok so i come to the conclusion that the white wire is #38 throttle opening output

but that really doesn't help me decide what the bare wire is, other then nothing i guess

lil more work done....the pic describes the problem..maybe it means my harness isn't from a skyline?
