I have a friend that for some reason will not post this question on the forum. I don't know why he's such a lazy jack-nut.

ANYWAY, he has a fuel issue on his RB20, and I think it's a FPR. He doesn't need or can afford a aftermarket adjustable one, so we need to find a stock one for him that will work as an OEM would.

Can someone point us in the direction of where one may be found? Is there one that is readily available for another engine that will work well?

Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, he is wrong for keeping or wanting an oem fpr, unless he has a complete skyline. If it's an engine swap, then he would have to have a pump that exactly matches the OEM pump or else he will need an adjustable FPR to correct for the the aftermarket high-pressure pump that he probably has.

Atleast that is my understanding of it. I am still trying to figure out why my fuel pressure builds up then drops whenever I am revving hard....

BTW, DB does some good series, eh?? I still haven't had time to watch last weeks episodes...lol

Except for the fact that the current FPR is busted?!?

You didn't answer my question in the least tho.

Again: Where do you get a stock RB20 FPR and where would you get a stock RB20 fuel pump?

I meant in his original setup, but that doesn't matter so long as, like you mentioned, the pump and the FPR work well together, like stock...

Your best bet is eBay or to post a Wanted ad in the classifieds. There is a guy on here that mentioned about 10 days ago, that he is currently in Japan (travels between there and Cali, I think his profile says he's located in Cali if that helps). He specifically mentioned that he is willing to help people by digging through the Japanese junkyards that are filled with skyline (not many GT-R's tho, he mentioned).

If I find his thread, I'll update and let ya know, but it is somewhere in these topics over the last 8 to 15 days, I think..
