So I slap in the r32 crossmember, start preping my rb20, and i noticed they sent me my engine with with no engine brackets !

Anyone know where I can get these? other than getting some custom ones made up? Would the mounts from a cefiro/laurel fit with the r32 crossmember?

I saw these ones http://www.japanparts.com:

11233 BRACKET ENGINE MOUNTING LH11232 BRACKET ENGINE MOUNTING RH

But it says "Z31 (RB20DET) Oct 85-"

Is that some kind of an oem Nissan rb20 mount kit for a z31? Its listed under the oem nissan seciton.

Cifero/Laurel mounts "brackets" should work great with R32 xmember. AFAIK there is no difference between these mounts and the R32 months... This is what I have on my s13 + r32 xmember, but I paid a little more and put in Nismo motor mounts/isolators under them.

You may want to consider buying a mount kit instead of messing around trying to track down the r32 parts. Mind end up costing you less time and only a little more money.

so the mount kits bolt directly to the engine block i assume? and not to the engine brackets.

Don't use the R32 crossmember if you can help it. It makes it really difficult to make clearance under the hood. Get these if you have the money:

cross member is the way to go as far as im concerned...

im gonna try the bmw motor mount thing to see if that improves clearance, even if it doesnt work they were only 30 bucks for the pair haha.

im in contact with a guy in japan whos gonna get the brackets for me.

care to elaborate on what you're talking about as far as using bmw motor mounts? havent ever heard of this and i've been looking for a way to get better hood clearance without going to a mount kit.

According to matafied, they lower the engine by an inch or two, which helps with clearance. Any bmw E30 mount will work.

Again this is what i've heard. Ill post up about it when i get around to actually getting this F$#@ing engine in there.

PS still looking for the brackets
