RB20 ECU testing???

hello so im new to the RB cominity i just purchased a 89 240sx with a RB20det, the swap was performance by a good friend. my problem lies in i went for a test drive the other night after doing some rutine matince n my car died, im check all the relays n wiring but i have no power to the fuel pump, n no spark. so im thinkin i may have fried the ecu??? how do i go about testing this?? since the RB20 ecu is not something i caan easly get to swap out to see if thats my probblem?? any ideas??? how do i test the ECU itself??thanks dan
