I went to PIR last night for the last drags of the season... I think it was around 35-40 degree's, but I was so anxious that I was just fine in my t shirt lol. Intercooler efficiency out the A hole, but the track was cold... My subframe bushings are killin me, I get really bad wheelhop in the burnout box and could never really get a decent burnout.

I had a weird problem with my boost rising up to .4 bar and then half way through the gear rising again and stopping at about .7 bar, and held it. I didnt mind for my first runs because I was fast (to me) and it was working for me.. Very last run I cranked my boost controller up one full turn (thought it was only like 1 psi). I only got to look at my boost gauge briefly in second and 3rd. I hit 1.1 bar in second that quickly bled off to .7 bar. I grabbed 3rd and saw my boost get up to .3 bar then quickly looked at my tach... From the moment I hooked 3rd, maybe 3-400 feet from the finish line, I felt it fall on its ***.. Looked at the boost gauge at WOT as I finished and I was at .3 bar STILL, and only gained about 200 rpm.

I start to hear compressor surge on my way back to the lanes, so I reach down to my BOV to feel if the line is still connected and theirs oil all over it.. So I'm pretty sure I blew a seal on the compressor side of the turbo... Bummer! I should have kept my foot out of it when I saw the boost go over 1 bar, but it happened really fast and I guess I got greedy..

Overall I had an absolute blast!! When the slicks heated up after the initial hit of the launch and really gripped, I'd never felt such a strong G force pushing me back in the seat in my whole life! My friends 400 hp KA didnt do that ( due to his launch sucking ).

My best time was a 13.6. The first time I ran this was at 103 mph. The second time I ran a 13.6 was when I blew my turbo... I must have had a really good 1000 foot time before I lost power, and I launched like a bat outa hell!! I ran the last 13.6 @ 96 mph!! Thats like on par or worse than a AWD trap speed... I feel I could have hit a low 13 if my turbo didnt pewp out oil.

It was very cold and slightly foggy, the guy that hands out timeslips said the cold/fog was messing with the lenses on the first half of the track, so I didnt get any 60'/330'/1/8 mile/1000'...

I'd have liked to see how fast I could get on my stock Rb20 setup but now that I popped the stock turbo, I'm gonna put on my T04E/450cc's.

Details/times are under the description of the vid... What do you guys think?

Wow, i'm suprised the stock clutch handled those launches. Last time i was at the track w/ my bro in his car w/ a relatively new stock clutch and slicks, the clutch would slip hard on an aggresive launch. granted it was like a 90 deg day in GA and he ran right after getting there after a 1 hour drive lol. once things cooled down it handled one solid pass. the temp must've been to your advantage. Good times man, glad to see someone w/ a rb20 that can actually drive and doesn't go around complaining why his 20 only runs 15's blaming the motor.

I'm really surprised at how well this clutch has held up as well. I did not notice any slip, or new smell, or it enguaging softer.

Thanks for the compliment man, the runs felt really good..

I cant say I'm not a little dissapointed though, I'd really like to have seen what that run would have been if my turbo didnt spew oil. But also, I cant say I'm not proud of running that 13.6 at only 96 mph lol!

Best I ran with the rb20 was 14.5/93mph after sitting in traffic for half an hour. Last run of the night I had shaved 4/10th off that by the eighth but, the turbo shot the exhaust wheel and I finished at 14.7 and 83mph.
