Ok, I was told that I should get Motor mounts from top hat or Mc cormick or how ever its spelled. For my Rb20det becuase the R32 cross memeber sets the engine to high in the engine bay and further further than it should be.I was told that Strut tower bars will not clear the engine.

I wanted to clear this up and find out for sure.

Becuase If its true then i'll buy the mounts. I want the engine to sit in the bay as perfect as it can since im adding the weight and pushing more infront of the front wheels anyway.

thanks

xmember will sit the motor higher and a bit more forward than if you used a mount kit...but it as solid as you can get.

the xmember put the engine forward .5"-1" forward, depending the condition of the chasis of your car. if you already have the xmember, use it. it's a waste if $ if you chunk it and go buy mounts. if on the other hand, if you only have the motorset, then just get mounts kits. i like the route of the xmember more. trimming a bit of the hood's underside isn't much to be fussing about.
