Sup all, Im having trouble getting the Timing belt gear off of the crank Ive tried soaking it w/ WD40/Other sprays that knock bolts and such loose, but this gear wont budge. From what i understand it is supposed to slide off. my crank pulley was a bit tough as well but i just used a gear puller for that. I would do the same for this gear but theres not enough clearance behind the gear to fit the puller in there :-/any tips would be appreciated! Thanks in advance -Paul

Rythmic tapping with a brass punch while it is soaked with WD40. Otherwise get another one and split this one with a chisel.

They cost like $20.00 in Japan. I don't know where you could get one or how much it would cost you if you found it. Don't split it if you can keep trying. I can get them easy because I am here so I split them the minute they give me crap.

lmao...borrow a factory nissan tool....he would have a better chance finding a heard of pink elephants runnign through his back yard..i can speak for my dealership we arent allowed to loan out any factory nissan tools whatsoever for we are liable...and nissan facotry tools in themselves are somewhat difficult to aquire if they are old.
