Ok, So I Picked up a rb20 about 2-3 months ago, I've been replacing parts and so on getting it ready to be dropped in my s13. But I noticed that my coolant temp sensor is missing the Plug. It has the 2 female metal clips that are inside the plug that go on the coolant temp sensor itself, But the outer shell/plug part of it is gone so it's just 2 wires with 2 female connectors on them. I know the z32 cts works with the rb20 so would the pigtail to it work as well? I don't really want to leave it the way it is and I can't find anywhere that sells a rb20 cts pigtail. Thanks,Pete.

pigtail should be the same.

But in all practicality, you should look into a better location for the temp sensor (In the coolant line directly) and a gauge that will give you accurate readings.

It sounds like you are going to be using the stock gauge cluster TEMP Gauge which could not move for 50* difference. So by the time you are at too high of a temp, your gauge cluster doesn't show it properly.

Good to know. The z32 temp sensor pigtail will be a lot easier to find, thanks. And this was for the ecu not the cluster. But I took a look into the thread you gave me a link to and I'll probably order a new gauge and fitting and go ahead and relocate it while its out of the car. Thanks for the help.
