It fits, the vacuum port is just facing a different direction. Not a big deal, just get more vacuum line.

below 300hp blow off valve losses hp on the RB20. just cap it off. If you really want one or if you're making good power I recommend Greddy. They sell one with an adaptor to bolt right onto the stock piping. RB25 pipe/blow off valve is different so make sure you order the R32 GTS-T kit.

don't know the science behind this one. we have dyno'ed many rb20 with blow-off valve and with them removed. make more power with no blow-off. it started in the drifting community so we tried it. high horse power or more valuable engines most people still recommend and use blow-off.

Probably because many gay a** stupid annoying BOV's (like anything made by HKS) leak. It has nothing to do with how much HP or what motor you have. If you BOV's leaks, you're going to loose power, like you did. If a BOV is shut at WOT like it is supposed to be (especially on a dyno) there is NO way it can have any effect on power what so ever. None. There is nothing wrong with the stock BOV, especially at stock boost levels. Who is "we" BTW? Just curious.

i agree it is probably due to leaking issues... rb20's are atleast 15years old! you proclaim HKS also leaks...

that only backs up my claim.

removing BOV doesn't hurt reliablity or drivabilty below 300hp on rb20. if you have rb26 with ITB or other expensive engine setup then it would be wise to keep a BOV(plus if you have those engines you'll be making more than 300hp). if you have more than 300hp on any engine then you will want to invest in a good one... i suggested Greddy.
