rb20 BOV question.

well i recently bought a BOV for my rb20 from a friend...he had it on his sr and decided to give it to me with a the flange and everything..well the whole hot pipe...its the blue one shown below. and then i realized that its the same shape as the pipe that comes on the rb also shown below. do you guys think there is a way to make it work on the rb? the only thing i can think of that wont allow me to do it is hood clearance

Hood won't shut. If you cut the pipe and rotate the valve so it is laying against the coil cover, top aiming at the firewall it will fit.

wow i dint even think about cutting and rotating.....good thinking...also..these is a rubber hose attached to the stock pipe..will i need to somehow make a lil nipple thing for it on the blue one or is it unimportant?

which pipe are you talking about, the one with the stock bov?

get a hks to 1g dsm bov adaptor and just slap it onto the stock j pipe, best bet.

i cant seem to remember a rubber hose attached anywhere on that pipe, probably just a vacuum.

you can also do what Carl H said, a older gen HKS BOV came with my motor and i have that flange, but its probably expensive to buy.

hmmm...can anyone guide me to this adaptor.. i suck at looking for stuff like that
