i have a rb20 in my 240. i put a rb25 turbo on a rb20 wastegate and now it only boosts up to 5lbs. could this be caused by the rb20 wastegate? and will my boost controller still adjust it higher when i put it in?

Stock RB20 wastegate is set about 10-11psi, something is not right.

I would suggest putting the 25 gate back on and using a boost controller. Gives you more tunning ability with the ceramic turbine. A stock RB25 turbine is wastegated at about .45bar or about 7psi. That give you a tuning range of about 5-6 psi with a boost controller if you have multiple settings. If you stayed with the 20 gate, you only get about 2-3 psi max of tuning on a 25 turbine with a ceramic wheel.

Also, shoot over to the RB forums and look around there. Might find a little more info there as this forum is just Skyline talk, and not much RB engine talk.
