Anybody know the part number for the alternator belt for the RB20, where I can find one?? Mine is squealing hardcore and it's getting pretty bothersome.

Yeah, no need to be an a$$, but then, I should have noticed that post in that thread. I read through the thread and somehow I missed the post about the alternator belt.

the part number for the belt is AY140-40860, now that was not so hard.

ibzbro, what company is that for (AY140-40860)? The Nissan part # given in that sticky thread is 11720-24U00, when I gave that to the Nissan dealer it didn't recognize the part number (of course).

Boostsfed: On the ProjectSilvia site, I found PS and AC belts for the HCR32 RB20DET, but didn't see one specifically for the alternator belt. Which one did you use? (they each have different number codes, like 0890, 0910, 0920, etc...)

that number is direct from the nissan fast system. the dealership will not show it because that part number dose not exsite. that is a japan part number.

ok, i finally remember to get the number off the belt on my car.

it's the PE Super V 4PK855, this one here: click me

the description may say it's for the S13, AC belt, but that's the same one I have on my RB20 alternator/water pump.

Goto NAPA and get these 2 belts (no a/c of course) and they work perfectly on the RB20DET and are easy to find.

ALso has the proper (1 heat range colder) copper spark plug
