rb20 alt questions

Ok so I believe my alternator took a dive. Now I have searched to no avail but what can a replace it with and how? Can I use an alternator out of a quest and what mods need to be done(link would help) Is there a way to rebuild it and how? I'm new to the world of rb I'm normally a sr guy but my sr is getting rebuild so I needed something else to drive around in and I figured I would give the rb a shot. So if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
