I dont think this has been asked before, but here goes...

Seeing as the RB20 and the RB26 come from the same family of engines, is it possible to take the 6 spd tranny from the R34 GTR and mate it with an RB20?

Would you have to make the AWD conversion?

any thing can be done the box is a getrag they run at 3-5 k us each then you need to mod it to fit its a pull type not a push type clutch also you need to run taller gears not worth it really.

I was just curious...I see some people selling RB26s with the R33 5spd, and I figured, why cant it be done the other way around.

Not that I have the money or the intention, but it was just a question that popped into my head and I had to ask.

Thanx for the replies...
