Let me first apologize if this is not in the correct spot ... i searched around for it's location and this "seems" to be the right spot.

I need some good help here, I tried posting this on the 240sx.net site and i haven't gotten any responses.

I'm trying to figure out why my #5 cylinder on my RB20 is not firing. I've eliminated the coils as the culprit, I've swapped the 5 coil with the 1 coil and the motor sounds the same. I've removed ALL the coils and the CAS, all coils are getting spark, even number 5. when i removed the #5 spark plug I noticed it was nice and shinny (gas?).

I'm wondering if it would be an injector issue (sticking open?)? .... i've "stolen" my buddies injectors from his RB20 (still stockies), should i swap that single injector or all six, or should i focus my attention else where?

:frown:

If you have verified that you do have spark in that cylinder, then you are looking the right way by going to the injectors. If you have a multimeter, you can test for a 12 volt feed to the injector, and then check for an A/C voltage to verify that the ecu is firing it. If you don't have the 12 volt, there is a bad wire on the power feed, and if no ac you either have a bad ecu or wire from the ecu to the injector. The other option is that it is just a bad injector and swapping with either your buddies or a ka24 injector will fix it.
