You can get AC by using a power inverter. Plug in a window a/c unit and stick it in the passenger side window.

Your a good sport.

Search, its somewhere around here. Its been done. You need custom lines.

I want a/c too and I am not fat, just lazy enough not to install a/c.

Hey try using ur sohc compressor and mounting it on the rb20 compressor mount...it should mount up perfectly...now ur lines should bolt back up to it...the only thing u got to worry about now is wiring...

So the RB ends go onto the stock ka lines. Once everything looks like it will line up, take the lines to someone who can weld the new ends on. (aluminum welder)

NOW FOR WIRING (VERY SIMPLE!!!!)

Basically when you hit the a/c button, it sends a signal to the ecu A/C input. Then the ecu sends a signal out (ground) to the A/C relay to click it on. Then the A/C relay sends power to the A/C compressor and to the FICD solenoid turning them both on. The FICD solenoid helps adjust the idle when the a/c is on.

So for wiring...

Chassis Harness Side -------- Engine Harness Side

1. A/C switch(thermo control amp) ---------> ECU A/C input2. A/C relay ground <--------- ECU A/C output3. A/C relay Power ----------> FICD Solenoid

Just use the RB wiring diagram and KA fsm to find the wire colors and position. I don't remember them off the top of my head. Besides s13's and different year s14's use different wire colors and positions so it varies

Also make sure you use the chassis plug for the a/c compressor. Also to test to make sure your wiring is correct without having your lines made or filled, all you have to do is jumper the dual pressure switch. If the lines have too much or too little pressure, the switch will open and the compressor will not turn on.

There you go folks, get those a/c systems running

Bluefire put a/c in his car and i believe made a tread on it somewhere but that should get you started.
