Does anyone know about an s14 RB25det swap video or EXTREMELY extensive walk- through with pics? Or the Sr20 but I want to make about 600hp or more. I was wondering which would be easier to do it with???? Sr or Rb--obviously but would my life be more simple with an Sr or what..pretty broad but I'm tired.....

I don't think they have a video for a rb into a s14. if you need a walk though maybe you shouldn't be doing the swap. it's not to hard it's like an any othere motor swap just a bigger motor.

good luck

first of all i dont think you realize how much power 600whp is

theres no point having that much. at all. period.

secondly i dont think you understand how much money that requires haha. dont tell me "money is no object" because if that were true you wouldnt be driving a s14.

im just trying to help you set a realistic goal.

If you don't know what to do put your wallet back in your pocket and start doing the research. If your mechanical skills are non-existent I suggest you start slow, tuneups on the KA24 and get proficient with 200hp before shooting for 600hp. I can tell you 400 is more that twice as dangerous as 200 and 600, well, I would give you an afternoon before you were at best a funny youtube video or worst an obituary.

ive scared the poo out of myself tooling around on high boost (approx 400whp) and it can be VERY dangerous; 600hp is a dynoqueen number good luck getting an s chassis to hook up with that much hp.

Well I do realize that 600hp is EXTREMELY excessive but I am basically trying to squezze info out of people. No one around me knows the first thing about tuning so I am in like the tuner Desert. I'm trying to go from stock to insane B4 I put it in the car...... I saw that write up on sr20 head that revs to 9000 but I also heard that revving like that increases Turbo-lag. I want good response. Off the wall numbers and basically I want to spend my weekends at the track. I live in calcasieu parish, La. Fkin whole in the wall. If anyone is close with intelligence I'll make the drive. Or just try and give me some info.

Here is what I was gonna do on an Sr20 as soon as I bought it.

1. head: Port and Polish, new springs, cams, everything, thicker gasket.

2. block: Stroker kit BC rods and low comp. pistons. Slightly bigger turbo, Headers, exhaust, grounding kit Koyo rad., Fmic, Samco hoses, clutches of some sort with flywheel. B&M short shift, Drive shaft --lighter model,1.5 way V LSD, I was thinking of Either 300zx or Skyline rear chunk or buying a set from somewhere would be easier im sure. Ecu + me = .

It's kind of slap dash I know im a noob but I've never really had anything but crappy mags and retards confusing me. I want to learn but flamming seems to be my ultimate inevitability. Thanks for any help give and for any flaming I guess I deserve....But I hate Ricers.

Don't fear I'm trying to go a traditional route on the outside.

takes alot to make a statement like that and admit you dont know much...most people wont do that.seriously the best thing you can do is read, read the stickied faq at the top of this subsection about rb motors and how the swap goes...i think there is one for the sr as well.then from there decide, if you are serious about going the rb route check out skylinesaustralia.com as they have a MASSIVE colletion of info as well as dedicated threads on diffrent motors/setups that people run.

Thank you. I try to learn what I can but information is somewhat limited. Thank you for the referral to the other sites. If anyone Has the time I'd like to chat like on an IM or something about doing swaps and what to or not to do. Plus if anyone can tell me what the REAL importance of MAFS and Different engine mods. Thanks.
