No joy.
As soon as the battery is connected, the headlights, tail lights, indicator lights(on dash), heater controls all turn on. Doesn't matter if the switch is on 'off', 'accessory' or 'ignition'. (Its push button too btw). Got a 3 way switch for accessory, off & ignition with a push button to start.
At first it was cranking well and seemed very promising. After a few unsuccessful attempts, I went in for another go. It began cranking then it just stopped cranking while I was still holding the button in.
Wiring definitely is not my forte and somebody has helped with (done most of) the wiring for me so Im not entirely sure on whats going on with that.
I'm new to the engine swaps (this is the first) but am keen as to learn. If anyone has any experience with similar issues or knows what and how to test then I'm all ears.
This is probably something fairly simple that I have completely overlooked. Sorry in advance if that is the case. Unfortunately there is only one way to learn.
At the moment though, I'm stumped. Any one wanna lend their handy 2 cents?
ECU? Bad Earth? Relay?
Cheers guys.
