Well Its a Carl H tuned ECU Garrett Turbo and 740cc injectors tuned for a z32 maf RB20DET... Now heres my problem With the Z32 Wired in Using Jim WolFs write up car fires runs about 10ish afr fuel cut at 3k ecu throws code 12 in total i tried 3 different z32 mafs and they all do the same....so out of ****s and giggles i throw on the j60 maf that was originaly on the car when it was stock and what do you know ecu throws 55 car idle sounds more like an rb... but runs off the meter on the lean side and its a bit rough when she revs....i know is becuase the ecu is tuned for a z32 but what i dont understand is why it wont run with a z32!!

I assume Carl adjusted your injector correction settings for the new injector size that you gave him and additional injector lag associated with your injectors?

Have you verified that your MAF wiring is correct?

signal wire on rb20's is black where on the z32 its white.

i setup deatchwerks and z32 maf on my car for a customer and had the car idling like glass, so i doubt its my tune.

this might help......

first off, use a multi-meter to find the 12v power wire so you dont fry something.

the colors on this diagram are not the actual wire color, you need to know what wires are the signal , power, and grounds.

an rb20 pin out will show you where the wires are, you find them, look and the color, and relate each to your MAF wiring. (the four wires) pin outs generally dont show colors. eventually someone might have time to look at theres but alot of people extend the maf harness using slightly different wires, so tracing wires from the ecu connector to the maf is the safest thing to do.

Bump and update..Vacume was about 8-10 psi was feeling around and felt a breeze as revs increased at the pre tb air inlet guessing its the hose and having none around i duck taped the hose and now it pulls about 12-15 i still believe i have a little leak but i dont feel anymore air coming from that area car still is running lean over 17.9 but as i rev it slowly to about 4.5 the wideband starts to read numbers again instead of blanks due to it being so lean my new maf comes in wensday so im sure thats gonna help it out alot but suggestions would be great....

no help to the young guy huh.....

Well i replaced my pre tb air line messed with my tps routed lines to the intake from the valve on the valve covers raise fuel pressure lowered fuel pressure at 38 psi on vac and now she idles smooth a 1.5k sounds just like any old rb20.....AEM reads off the charts lean pulled plugs and there a whiteish ( its deffinatly running lean) it doesnt sounds like an rb when throtle is applied tho think of this a big block chevy v8 has sex with a subaru 4 banger thats what it sounds like..under little throttle at around 2.5k rpm it cuts out but under about 30 or 40% thorttle it revs to what i only pushed it to 4k fine...im stumped idn what it could be ECU throws no codes running bcpr6es-11 ngk plugs
