RB went from Cranking to nothing....

ok well this is a series 2 rb25det in a S13 (had a ka24de in it). I ave the fuel pump wires connected, the neutral safety wire connected, the RED KA wire to the red RB25 wire, and also the Black/yellow to the Black/white wire.
i had those wires connected and was able to get the engine to crank, but not catch and run. but i cut the black/yellow to black/white wire and connected it to a different black/yellow (both black/yellow wires are from the KA) and it didnt crank. so i connected it back to the other black/yellow wire where it was cranking originally and now it wont do anything!!! no crank no nothing -_- i checked the starter and it works fine. checked the fuses and everything checked out. im out of ideas...any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I am no RB engine specialst but start with the easy stuff: Fuel (Fuel Pressure), Spark (Sparking from the spark plugs and make sure the MAF sensor works.
