Hi, I have a Rb20det and picked up a rb25 stock turbo, and have read posts that there are issues with swapping them, I was wondering if its possible to put the rb25 compressor on the rb20 turbine.

thanks,

What's the point in swapping them your still limited to 15 psi from the ceramic exhaust fins.

I want to swap it because i have a rb25 turbo on hand and would like to swap the compressors with my rb20 turbo if the rb25 turbo wont fit on the Rb20 motor, people say it will fit others say it wont so i will find out when i ship my car to where i am living now.

It may be possible to swap compressors but it won't be easy, the housings and backing plates are different. The RB25 turbo will bolt straight on except you may need RB25 water lines and banjo's. Don't run more than 9psi until you get a tune as you will be taxing the stock fuel system at this level.
