Just a simple question. Let not talk about the turbo and high hp numbers but how do i get more torque. meaning i do not care what hp number is at with what turbo but i care about torque . Should i get Cams to get more torque or do i need to custom how the exhaust is gonna be routed, or do i need to up the compression or what?

torque = displacement.

you can increase torque and horsepower with all mods but TRUE torque can only be obtained by increasing displacement.

I'm looking for all around torque through out the band without increasing the displacement basically something like low end that use fr drifting but i want it higher up too

using a longer runnered intake manifold might help... playing with camshaft timing can help put it in different areas... having a FAST spooling turbo will also help with torque

actually in terms of basic engine physics torque is more a result of stroke, not displacement. longer stroke, more torque, lower red line (due to stresses and piston speeds) less stroke, less torque, higher red line.

Are you getting an rb20? If so just get a rb25. If your getting a rb25, get a rb30 block, get your swap running and then build the rb30.

Or you can supercharge it.

u can swap out the gears too that makes a difference, mine puts down more torque than hp with 4.46 gears
