currently, I am running a t25 at 10 psi on my KA-T. And it hits hard early. I LOVE IT. My freind just bought an Rb with 36 k on the motor and turbo, and was willing to sell me the t28 off of it for $100. Is this a good offer. Does the t28 fit like a t25 in mani, dump, and oil lines? Will I need to tap for coolant lines? Whats the trim, when does it spool, and how much does it push stock?

thx guys

You might be better off asking in teh RB forum. Ive never been able to find the specs of RB turbos, but they should know if its an upgrade from an SR T25 (which I'm assuming you have)...

The RB20 t3 or t28 whatever you want to call it is good for 14 psi or less... Do not turn it up higher, it is a ceramic wheel and is known to fly apart at higher boost levels.

I made 219 HP and 200 tq with just a mild tune on the SAFC, and 12 PSI or so.

Boost comes on almost instantly, and spools 14 psi right before 3000. Should spool the same on a KA, give or take a couple hundred RPM.

T3 flanged, Water cooled, yes you'll have to tap for water lines.

All the RB's except the GTR have a T3, this matters alot considering one is a T25 flange and one is a T3 flange. So if your mani is flanged to accept a T25, you'll need an adapter or new flange. IS the turbo from a RB25 or RB20. Either will be better then the T25. I know I ran my RB20 at 14psi for a long time with no issues.
