exactly what the title says. How bout listing where you can get Rb swaps from, websites, and your reviews if you have ordered from them. This should be made a sticky. If this has already been done then I apologize that I didnt find it in the thousands of other threads. If this has not been done then it should be stickied.

I'll put in a word for jdmtigerjapanese.com

I got the whole motorset, wiring, trans, ecu etc for 2200 shipped. only problem with the entire swap was the spark plug cover having a crack in it. Very healthy motor, running 2 years strong and now at 370whp @ 17psi. :D

VENUS AUTO------------> FAIL!!!!!!

Fock RonaldHe sent me 2 BLOWN motors. Then told me to FOCK off.

x2 on the Clips with different gauge clusters. He sent me a cluster from some other car.

He also told me that he compression tested BOTH motors.Funny because when I compression tested BOTH motors.

They were both GONE!!!!

That's why I know have a RB20 with a crazy Overbore!!!!!

And.... that POS then gave me problems getting my money back for the 2nd BLOWN motor.

YES.... I paid for a second motor....He DID NOT. I repeat DID NOT send me another motor for free (under warranty).I had to chase down Ronald and Vicky to get my money back.

i aswell as one of my friends both picked up rb25s from jdm engine zone in new jersey. drove down with a trailer and they let us go in the warehouse and pick out our motor sets. great and knowledgeable guys. helped with any follow up questions we had, and gave us some tips on the install before we left. always helped with questions when we called after the purchase.

found this thread, was started in 05 and basically went over the same stuff.

Maybe we can merge the two threads together and sticky it as RB Importer Reviews

JDMtigerjapanese sent me an R33 clip with all exterior parts. When they shipped it to me I requested they remove the headlights and put them under the dash, but they left them. When it arrived at my door one of the headlights had a huge unrepairable gouge.T28 had a leak on the compressor side that was clearly visible because of all the oil in the charge pipes. They also cut every coolant hose and dented the F**K out of the oil pan.Several wires were crushed because of the way they put the motor on the crate. To top it off, they had the WORST customer service. To get another another turbo that was good they wanted me to pay shipping for the whole clip back to them and then for the new one to me.

I bought a RB25 from JDM of Miami, cheap price for what I wanted... didn't need extra crap with it. Downside of the deal, had low compression and I didn't find out until after the install was done.

i notice a trend here...

my RB25det was from jdm-online.com from canada.

Low compression in two cylinders, found out AFTER the 30 day warranty expired so no $$$ back.

I got my motorset from jdmenginedepot on ebay. its was pretty cheap like less than $2k and the shipping was fast. Only problems i had were a bracket on the intake manifold broke off leaving a giant whole in the intake, but i replaced it with the isis manifold so it wasn't a big deal, oh and the pulley for the AC was chipped and beat up, but other than that it was a nice motorset.

it doesnt seem like any of you guys had good luck. if you can find a shop close to you where you can go see the motor set and test it before you buy id recommend that. if not you can search for similiar threads. i know some of our sponsers sell swaps. like rawbrokerage check them out they are legit as fak!
