Does anyone know for sure if mckinney's mount kit can be used on a auto car?

Anymore work needed over a regular swap into manual? Except the drilling into firewall, clutch pedal assembly.

Like is the crossmember different? No right? Thanks for any input or anyone that did a rb swap into auto s14 would be great too!

Thanks

same thing as a manual car all u gotta do is get that clutch pedal in with the master cylinder and then get the clutch line to hook up to the slave...get the mckinney mounts and the motorset and drop it in very simple just take ur time

well i tried emailing mack and his respond was kinda weird, but i think he thought i wanted a auto rb swap. he sounded confused. i will have to call to make sure he understands exactly what my question is.

1. Drill and install clutch pedal and make smaller the brake pedal (you told it)2. McKinney provides you with a transmission mount for the swap (you will not need any crossmembers)3. wiring harness should be changed.

For a RB automatic you need to make some mods to trans crossmember buy cutting the forward section that bolts to the car to clear the automatic trans. Very easy to do and works fine that way... mack

Mack... i think he's talking about a chassis which was originally an automatic, not swapping in an RB and using an RB automatic transmission.

if your question was to swap into a car that had a KA automatic transmission in it, and you are switching to an RB manual transmission, there is no special work required. crossmember, subframe, are all the same. It's the same as if you had a manual car to start.

you just need to add the extra pedal and do the "Park" wiring for the start switch. that's it
