Hey im new to these forums... i picked up a RPS13 not that long ago.. and i was going to do with the SR swap but when i heard RB swaps are not too hard i was leaning more towards that.... i heard the RB25 is a fairly easy swap but i got really inspired by the HKS 180SX with the almighty RB26... anyways my question is.. what makes this swap so difficult?.. and what kind of custom modifications would have to be made? i heard the twin turbo is in the way of the steering column and that the oil pan might need custom work too... i was hoping if nyone could give me sum helpful pointers?

Wow, it's getting funny seeing all these RB26 threads now.

I just have one thing to say - do the research yourself and learn about this swap instead of asking 'how'. If you ask how, you will not learn anything.

But yes, the obvious, you will need to switch to a RWD oil sump setup and a RWD transmission. Those are the two major parts of getting started. The rest you really should look into for yourself because it's all out there.

Hey, good to hear that you are interest in the rb too. I got my rb25 done last august. It wasn't hard for the technical but the wiring, I have to have mack from mckinneymotorsports did it.

for the rb26, you have to get new motor mount, ask mack from mckinneymotorsports.com
