is there a shop where i can just pull in and then leave with an RB stuffed in my 240?

you know, just like Jiffy-Lube.... only it would take longer

I was going to ask the same question. Not everyone has performance shops that can do Nissan conversions around them. I figured they can take one out, put one in and wire it. Shouldnt be too hard with a wiring diagram should it (for an ASE certified mechanic)??? I would rather not tow my 240sx 1000 plus miles to get a Rb20 installed

yeah there are a few shops, Mckinley, Afterdark, Unstable, etc...not cheap, but they'll take care of everything...

That's what I'm doing. I don't have much of a clue as to what I'm doing, but I'll manage :). I'm going to get some help from some local import guys that have had experience with honda swaps, can't be to different. I can probably figure out the wiring stuff. Worst comes to worst I'll ask my brother to help, he's a bit anti-import, but he is a mechanic, graduated from Wyo-tech.

I am kinda with you. I think it is just intimidation. I probaly could have swapped out my SOHC for the DOHC. It just looked intimidating and I got tired of being caked up to my elbows in grease. I think the manual labor would be fine, just the wiring would get me and I am NOT good with that kinda stuff

I hear you on that grease thing but as soon as you start ANY engine that you put in yourself all that washes away.....A friend a I just put in a engine this weekend. It was basically a plug and play on a Acura, both our first time swapping. And it started the first time....:)

yeah...AFTER I pretty much sold my Cams, I got most of the engine harness off. I was pissed. I was thinking of tackling the swap because my SOHC is gone. I cant go to afterdark, etc because I would have to tow it. My garage or the auto hobby shop on base is the only solution. It isnt my daily driver...so **** it...LOL
