I dont post here much... but i have a question...

What color should i paint my motaR? It is all apart right now for a "head gasket and bearings":

Motor LOOKS LIKE THIS:

But i was thinking

Block: Black or ford BlueValve Cover, Plenum, Timing Cover: Black? Polished? Blue? White?

Car is red. Engine bay is black. Id like to paint the car white someday.

I think a blue block with white components would be hott. I dont give a **** about the outside of the car. But i  slick engine bays...

behind a CLEAR, YES CLEAR, TIMING COVERI am using these cam gears: and the timing belt is a baby blue color:

I am going to polish all the aluminum parts that dont get painted. Anything not getting a color will get black.

There is nothing sexier in this world than a fully polished RB26 . I'm talking about the valve covers, coil pack cover, and front timing cover, as well as the piping.

limited by turbo (gt3040r) and transmission (rb20det... lol) 600whp would be ok...i made 409 last year, stock motor. But that was untuned and only revving to 6500.

i spent too much... lol

SOOOOOOOOO no opinions on what to paint?

Nice setup...with that money why not build the block?

I like everything so far. I would think that your motor would look the best powder coated silver or polish it.

That triple plate looks nasty, I put a twin plate on an RB25 and it was ALOT OF FUN...not really.

I think white would be cool...black block, white valve covers...

BUT

I think that something REALLY off the wall would be cool also, maybe a neon lime green?

No dont do that! HA HAwhat about....Gold, like Top Secret gold?http://www.linney.org/topsecretengine.htm

build the blocK? Are you talking about resleeving? Polishing the block? O-ring? I may O ring, but i doubt i will polish the inside... i don't have the energy... And resleeving is unneccessary...

Well, I am really looking for one that I do not have to modify, or if I do, I would like to see somone elses who has done it.. let them 'test it out' I would rather not spend the $ on it, unless I know that it will work.

Let this go back to sleep ctnewman sold that setup ages ago in parts. He bought a lotis or so he said. He just did not have nissan flowing in his blood I guess. Why do all that just to quit and sell it off for 11k or something like that what a waste of time. What ever flots your boat I guess.
