It's HW4 for all Skylines cept the Rb26 thats a HW3. I forget how you set the numbers. 2in 2out? or was 4in 4out. I haven't messed with a AFC in about 1 and half years. Emange is easy to setup tho :D

Yes so true not all cars are the same. What might work good on his might not work good on yours.

i have an SAFC2 on my RB...what settings are you looking for? Apexi lists the RB20DET in it's wiring instruction manual. So all the information for inital set up is in there. As far as fuel tuning goes...you'll have to get on a Dyno. I actually had to lean my motor out across the board at high throttle. i was running rich as hell. I got about 15 to 20whp by using the SAFC to tune my fuel system.

Also, the SAFC2 will allow you to use a Z32 maf, or any other maf you want. You just have to tell it that your using it. It requires a simple change in the settings menu. It also has a fucnction to change fuel settings when the engine RPMS drop dramatically. This allows you to use a BOV without the car stalling.

BTW, apexi's website has all the manuals available for download.

You can choose the 300zx AFM in the S-AFC.

I D I O T is 5 letters if you are radomly tring to tune the AFC.. you MUST (MUST MUST MUST) use a WB O2 setup.

The wideband sensor is useless w/o a unit to run it. Techedge makes one and so does Innovative with their LM1 unit. They're usually $350-450.

No, you a/f gauge is no good for this setup.

Check out the issue of Import tuners wide band shoot out. Has a whole bunch of them. They tested them with the MOTEC unit and the NTK one.

Nope just use theres. You would need it if you were going to tunwe it yourself. When I had my DSM I tuned the car with a Greddy EGT gauge and the pocket logger... ahh the good old days.

getting on a dyno is basically simulating loads on the motor while the car is stationary. you should plug in the wideband o2 to properly tune your motor. IMO, those generic a/f gauge are crap because it doesn't show af ratio accurately.

if you already own a wideband o2, street tuning is another option, it would cut dyno time cost quite a bit.
