Ok so before I wasnt getting fuel but it turned out to be that the f4 plug wasnt connecting right so now I have fuel. I have a nismo fpr but no fuel pressure gauge yet. I will be installing one asap. So we got fuel but it almost seems like theres possibly too much fuel pressure right now. Could this cause the car not to start? We finally got fuel but still no start. The motor cranks really good and fast. It currently has the wrong tps on it so I am going to be switching that out but that still shouldnt cause it to not start. Its has brand new plugs, all fuses and relays are good. Any suggestions?

Have you pulled the plugs to see if they are wet or anything? Are there heavy gas fumes after you finish cranking it? I highly doubt the stock FPR would have failed. What plug gap are you running?

yes you can smell gas after cranking it. I have a nismo fpr installed but have yet to put a fuel pressure gauge on it. I have not pulled plugs to see if they wet yet..Ill go do that now. The plugs came out of the box gapped at about 37 or so..I went to gap them at 35 and they were already over that.

The car should start even if the plugs are gapped to 35. You should adjust them to 31 hundredths for best results.

Have you checked the wiring harness for continuity from the coilpacks to ground and from the ECU to coilpacks?

no not yet. My buddy has an s1 rb25 and he says his has a ground that comes off of the coil pack harness but mine doesnt. That have anything to do with it? Im horrible at troubleshooting or anything that touches wiring.

pulled plugs and they were def. getting fuel to them. Have yet to check for continuity between ecu and coil pack harness..waiting on new ecu to come in cuz the one that I originally had, had a dent in it and grounded itself out when we tried to start the car.

So yes---- too much fuel will cause it not to start--I started mine for the first time today and that was one of my problems before it got going. I'm using a Sard fpr and I dont read JDM writing very well.

Pull all your plugs and clean the fuel off them and then turn the motor over a few times with the fuel pump fuse pulled.

The S1 motors have the coilpack ignitor on the pack cover. S2 has the ignitor inside the ECU so I'm assuming the ground for the coilpacks is at the ECU as well. The S1 ground was on the rearmost coilpack bolt.
