New UPDATE: I just test it out the AC again at high and low speed. I realize that at low speed, it take litttle longer, but it still heat up the motor.s14derrick wrote:if its dragging your motor down that bad at high speeds and its overheating on the highway my guess would be the compressor is seizing and not spinng freely. im thinking at higher speeds the motor should be getting much more cool air then at lower speeds.
Make sure you're running an under tray too. This will definitely help the airflow through the radiator and FMIC.. It is likely overheating because you need to do some ducting work in the front to force the air through the radiator. Seal all the openings in the core support as well. You will be surprised how much this helps.
